These Rental Terms apply when you pay to watch the full movie Dodmansa on the Dodmansa Platform operated by Vedhik Cosmos. They supplement the Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.
1. What you are buying
You are purchasing a limited personal licence to stream the full movie for a fixed period. You are not buying a downloadable file, a DVD, a perpetual licence, or public-performance rights. When the rental expires, playback stops even if you did not finish the film.
2. Plans, price, and GST
Available plans are shown in the app before you pay. Typical plans include:
- 48 Hour Rental — stream as often as you like during 48 hours from activation
- 7 Day Rental — stream as often as you like during 7 days (168 hours) from activation
Prices are in Indian Rupees. Applicable GST (currently 18% unless the rate changes by law) is calculated at checkout. Promotional prices and coupons (for example DODMANSA20, when active) apply only as stated on the coupon: validity, minimum order value, maximum discount, and per-user limit.
We may change plan prices or durations for future purchases. A change does not alter a rental you have already paid for and activated.
3. When the clock starts
- You choose a plan and complete payment through Razorpay.
- After the payment is verified as successful, the rental is activated.
- The viewing window starts at activation (not at first play, unless we expressly say otherwise in the app for a specific offer).
- Expiry is calculated from the plan duration (for example, 48 hours after activation).
- If payment stays pending, failed, or is reversed, you have no right to watch the full movie.
4. How you may watch
- Stream only inside the official Dodmansa app or authorised players we provide.
- You may rewatch during the active window, subject to reasonable technical limits.
- Internet access is required. Data charges from your telecom operator are yours.
- Picture quality depends on your connection, device, and the encodes we publish.
5. What you may not do
- Download, copy, screen-record, photograph the screen, or re-upload the film
- Share your login so others can watch outside your household
- Charge tickets or hold a commercial public screening
- Use VPNs or tools to evade geographic or account restrictions we apply
- Attempt to play after expiry or after a refund that cancels the licence
Breach may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund, account suspension, and legal action for copyright infringement.
6. Devices and sessions
We may limit the number of devices linked to your account and the number of concurrent playback sessions to reduce piracy and abuse. If we detect unusual playback (many locations or devices in a short time), we may require re-login or pause streaming pending review.
7. Coupons
Coupons are optional, non-transferable, and may be withdrawn. Misuse (fake accounts, automated checkout) voids the discount and may void the rental.
8. Trailers and free media
Trailers, songs, and other promotional clips may be free and are not part of the paid rental clock. They can be removed at any time.
9. Film certification and viewing
Dodmansa is certified UA 16+. By renting, you confirm that you (and anyone watching with you) are permitted to view a UA 16+ film, and that if viewers are under 18, a parent or guardian is responsible.
10. Service interruptions
If a platform-wide outage prevents playback for a significant part of your rental window, contact Support with your payment/rental ID. We may, at our discretion, extend the window or refund in line with the Refund Policy. Ordinary issues (your Wi-Fi, old devices, pausing the film yourself) do not extend the rental.
11. No transfer
Rentals are tied to your user account and cannot be gifted, resold, or moved to another person.
